Obedience Training Match & Rally Obedience Training Match

Location: “Stay N Play” training facility in Truro, Nova Scotia. 214 Crossley Ave., Truro Industrial Park  (There is Plenty of parking). Please visit our web home at www.staynplaycaninecentre.ca

The Obedience match will run from 10:20am until 1:40pm with both rings running with a choice to have a run through at any level. This is a training match so you may use toys or food and you can use your 9 minutes to work on specific things or have a run through. It is your training time to use to enhance your trial situations.
The Rally Novice / Intermediate match will start in the morning with a walk through from 8:50am - 9:00am Match spots will be booked every 8 minutes. You will have 8 minutes to run through the course as many times as you like and work on problem areas. You will have a judge in the ring and I will offer suggestions upon request.

The Rally Advanced / Excellent match will start in the afternoon with a walk through from 2:00pm - 2:10pm.  Match spots will be booked every 8 minutes. You will have 8 minutes to run through the course as many times as you like and work on problem areas. You will have a judge in the ring and I will offer suggestions upon request.

****NEW **** Focus Points******

You can book a 5 minute free (1 only per handler) time to work in the smaller 15 x 30 ring while rally novice is running. You can use this for extra time to do Stand for exams, Small group sit stays, go outs, ROH, ring entries or whatever. There will be no judge so you can ask fellow match goers to help if you need it. This allows you to focus on the bigger picture during your run. This is not to replace people doing 2 runs but to offer a bit of focus on 1 particular component.

If you would like a detailed written critique of your obed /rally time slot. So that you have specific notes to take away from your practice sessions then please contact me as I will book myself off for your time slot if possible and sit and critique your work. You will be given a critique sheet based on your level chosen. Unlike a score sheet where you don't know where your lags or wides or crooked sits are this critique will give you detailed feed back and suggestions. Unfortunately I will not have time to go through the sheet after but they will be easy to follow. Book a critique on your first run so you know what you have to work on for your second run for example. Critique spots will be highlighted in pink.
